Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of advanced plastic piping systems. With a global workforce of over 16,000, the company operates in 45 countries through more than 100 manufacturing and commercial companies.
Our client was using a number of different solutions in order to manage their complicated pricing, rebates and promotions.
The result of having many disparate solutions was that they did not have an accurate, or easily accessible, picture of their product revenue and costs by customer and vendor. This also meant that a large amount of manual entry was required to move information from one solution to another.
With operations in multiple countries, our client was faced with the challenge of finding a solution that could handle pricing which varied by country, customer groups and item groups.
Our client selected TRM for AX, Flintfox’s Trade Revenue Management solution embedded within Dynamics AX.
TRM for AX provides the automation capability that was required. Prices are now calculated automatically, removing the need to perform the tasks manually. This in turn is resulting in improved pricing accuracy.
It also allows a single source of pricing truth across multiple locations. With initial implementation in Europe, the plan is to roll out TRM for AX across all global locations.
