In essence the Application Development Framework [ADF] enables rapid construction of commercial products and can integrate to other applications such as CRM and ERP solutions, thereby satisfying an OEM’s objectives. The ADF achieves this by including in its base toolkit all functions and processes necessary to enable customers to budget, plan, manage, control and analyze complex pricing and sales and trade related expenses. Pricing, sales and trade related requirements are extremely variable even within industry verticals as they are based around the type of products the organization has and how these are marketed and sold to the end customer. This means that many of the components need to be generic in nature.

The ADF is extremely flexible and configurable. It achieves this by utilising a robust multi-layered architecture (in all there are 10 layers). It also provides components and libraries which extend the functionality found in the Microsoft .NET Framework, complementing rather than replacing it. These components and libraries fall into four main areas; Analytical, Budgeting/Planning, Trade Management and User Interface Management.

The ADF utilizes only Microsoft technologies and is free from any third party application license fees.
