Flintfox has BI Competency in own right

Flintfox first gained a Microsoft Business Intelligence Competency some years ago by providing customers with systems to extract data from their ERP transactional systems and place it into an OLAP Cube environment ready for analysis with ProClarity BI Competency derived BI clients. “Those leading Microsoft SQL server based systems still provide the main reporting and analysis system for all but a couple of our original Enterprise Analyzer clients, says Paul Coote, Professional Services Director for Flintfox.

Now Flintfox have renewed their BI Competency with Microsoft, but this time using their own smart client, tuned to use SQL server based cubes for both Planning and Analysis. “With our specialised solution customers take advantage of the sophisticated analytical features such as cell level report context, deep analytical real-time integration with our Trade Promotion Management (TPM) software, and the multi-window dockable pane user interface, which for CPG customers in particular is invaluable in planning, tracking and analyzing their trade spend,“ according to James Lett, who manages R&D at Flintfox. “A range of customers, from Sydney Australia, Arizona and from Brunswick right across on the US East Coast, have provided the necessary references to Microsoft for us to renew this competency,” he added.

Flintfox have also held an ISV Competency for many years in recognition of their independently developed software solutions that utilize Microsoft’s latest technologies.
